A story of empathy and an unwavering belief that healthcare is a right - not a privilege.

Our Foundation

Donate Your Meds (DYM) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gap in healthcare access for underserved and low-income individuals. Founded in Atlanta, Georgia in July 2014 by Dr. Jen Omenukor, a Clinical Pharmacist with over a decade of experience, DYM was built on equal parts expertise and heartfelt empathy.

We believe healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Our work centers on providing free medicines, copay assistance, and essential medical supplies to those who need them most. We also deliver preventive health services, including blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, to empower individuals and improve outcomes before crisis strikes. Whether serving low-income neighborhoods, disaster-stricken regions, or developing countries, our commitment to healthier lives and stronger communities never wavers.

Dr. Omenukor's passion for healthcare equity is deeply personal. Growing up as a member of the Igbo tribe in Nigeria, she witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of poverty and limited medical access. Those experiences shaped her resolve, and inspired the belief that drives everything we do: that no medicine should go to waste when another life could be saved.

Since 2014, DYM has stepped up for communities across the globe, from families recovering from natural disasters to those navigating the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. We maintain a special focus on developing countries, particularly Nigeria, where the need for accessible healthcare remains urgent and deeply felt.

Our vision is bold yet simple: a world where everyone, regardless of income, has access to the medicines and care they need to thrive. When you support DYM, you're not just donating supplies or funds. You're fueling hope, saving lives, and helping build communities that are stronger than before.

Together, we make a difference - one pill at a time.
